1:1 coaching for women who are stretched too thin

Psychology-based, practical coaching to get your time, energy and headspace back, so you can do your best work and enjoy your life outside it.

Is this you?

On paper, it’s working. In real life, it’s a lot.

You’re good at what you do, and people rely on you. Maybe your days are packed with meetings you don’t feel you can turn down. Maybe you rewrite things until they’re just right, or say yes before you’ve even thought about it. Either way, there’s no time left to think, and the work you’re best at keeps getting pushed to “when things calm down.”

You already know your patterns. What you need is help actually changing them while everything keeps moving.

What it’s costing you

Running like this has a price, even if it never shows up on your calendar:

  • Your evenings and weekends: you’re home, but your head is still at work

  • Your best work: pushed aside for everyone else’s priorities

  • Your energy and health: spent on the push-crash-guilt cycle

  • Your relationships: you’re there, but not really present

  • Your gifts: no headspace to think strategically or go after what’s next

What it’s worth

Clients finish our work with clearer boundaries, more confidence and more time for the work they’re best at. Many go on to be promoted, change careers or simply enjoy their lives again. As one client put it, “I’m not only achieving more, but I’m doing it with a sense of peace and confidence I didn’t think was possible.”

How I coach

I’m in the work with you.

I bring two things together that most coaches don’t: a background in psychology, and years inside fast-paced corporate teams. So I get the emotional side of why you’re stuck, and I understand the reality of your work. That’s why we don’t stay in the abstract.

We look at your real work together: the packed calendar, the emails, the conversations you’re dreading, the presentation coming up. If you lead a team, we look at structure and delegation, so you can stop being the person everything runs through.

At the same time, we work on what’s underneath: the perfectionism, the guilt when you say no, the belief that if you don’t do it, it won’t get done right. Practical changes only stick when the emotional side shifts too.

Most of my clients already know their patterns, and many have done therapy. What’s been missing is follow-through: a plan, real steps, and someone in it with you.

How it works

Four steps, built around your real life

01 · Before we start

You’ll complete a short reflection form: where you are now, what’s worked before, and where you usually get stuck.

02 · Your coaching map

90-minute first session. We get clear on who you are now and who you want to be. We map the practical changes and the emotional stuff, like the guilt and the people pleasing, that we’ll work through. We name what you want to make room for outside work, and what helps you build momentum. You leave with a plan.

03 · Coaching sessions

Every session moves you along your map. Some days we go deep into your mindset and inner narrative, and challenge the beliefs that aren’t serving you. Other days we get practical: people dynamics, strategy, or role-playing a hard conversation.

04 · Real-world change

Between sessions, we agree on small, specific steps to try in your real life. This is where so much of the work comes to life. In between, you can reach me by email or Voxer (a voice-message app).

What you walk away with

A new way of working. A kinder, more trusting relationship with yourself. More time for the work you love, and better results because you’re not stretched so thin. More energy for your life outside work, and for your relationships. And you’ll feel more like yourself again.

All coaching is virtual. I’m Canada-based and work with women across Canada, and beyond. Many of my clients are senior leaders, and I also work as an executive coach with leaders inside organizations.

Investment: we’ll talk through investment on your discovery call. You can pay monthly, or save 10% when you pay in full, and many clients use their employer’s professional development budget, so it’s worth asking.

What clients say

In their words

“I was honest about my desire to move up, get uncomfortable, feel more confident, work better with my team and peers and have better conversations. After 6 months I am so happy to say that everything above was achieved.”

Ilana, Senior Director of Sales, Toronto, Canada

“What makes Ashley unique is the way she listens deeply, tailors each session to where I am in the moment, and transforms my reflections into practical tools I can use.”

Paige, Senior Policy Analyst

“It feels like I have just graduated from university, again. I have a much greater sense of where I can take my career, and it’s much wider than I thought it would be.”

Tate, Strategy Director

“Since working with Ashley, I’ve been able to intentionally improve my work-life balance, have more honest conversations, think critically about my career path, and adopt healthy habits that support both my work and personal life.”

Stephanie, Inventory Control Analyst

Is this right for you?

This is a good fit if you:

  • Want to change how you actually work, not just talk about it

  • Want practical change and real insight, together

  • Are willing to try new things between sessions

  • Want a coach who will support you and challenge you

It’s probably not the right fit if you:

  • Are looking for someone to tell you exactly what to do

  • Want a quick fix in one or two sessions

  • Are in crisis or need support for a mental health condition. A therapist or doctor is the right first step, and I’m happy to talk about how coaching could complement that later.

Questions you might have

How is coaching different from therapy?

Therapy often helps you understand where your patterns come from. Coaching helps you change them, in your real work and life, starting now. Many of my clients have done therapy and find the two work well together. If something comes up that’s better suited to therapy, I’ll tell you.

I don’t really know what I want yet. Is that okay?

Absolutely. Many clients start there. Figuring out what you want is part of the work.

I’m already stretched thin. How will I find time for this?

Fair question, and a very common one. Sessions are twice a month and virtual, and the work between sessions fits into your real week. Most clients find coaching gives them back far more time and energy than it takes.

Can my employer pay for coaching?

Often, yes. Many companies have professional development budgets that cover coaching. I’m happy to provide what you need to make the request.

What happens on the discovery call?

You’ll answer a few quick questions when you book. On the call, we’ll talk about where you’re feeling stuck, what you’d like to change, and whether working together feels like the right fit.
